THE WORK
Working Title is an eight-hour performance that examines how labor shapes our lives, identities, and bodies. Mirroring a standard workday, the piece explores the blurred boundaries between work and art through physically and mentally demanding scenarios performed on stage. Themes include productivity, repetition, workplace power structures, illness, disability, economic inequality, and the connection between labor and mental health. Through a dynamic, collective, and experimental artistic form, the performance investigates the values prioritised in contemporary working life and asks what costs and forms of value are embedded in the sale of our time. The work invites reflection on alternative futures of labor and social organization.

THE ARTIST
Anastina Eyjólfsdóttir is an artist working between Reykjavík and Oslo, currently pursuing a research-based master's programme in performing arts at the Iceland University of the Arts (LhÍ). Her practice unfolds at the intersection of dance, performance and the visual arts, with the boundary of the body as the main subject of her work. She holds a BA in Sculpture from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Her works have been featured in exhibitions and performances across international platforms, including the Stedelijk Museum, Gallery Nest, and Doors Creative Studio in Amsterdam.
