THE WORK
A site-specific choreographic performance for two performers, a local female choir and a swimming pool. The piece explores the relationship between body and water from a female perspective. The work takes place in a swimming pool (or optionally at other spaces of leisure) where bodies gather and share a moment of tranquility. An ode to the unapologetic female body; wrinkles, cellulite, goosebumps, soft and hard lines, thin and thick skin. The body is beautiful. Enjoy it! Dive in! Dance on the bank! Let yourself float...

THE ARTIST
Together Snædís Lilja and Sigríður Ásta are the performance duo Forget-me-not. As a duo they come from different artistic backgrounds; Snædís has worked as a dancer all her professional life (and longer) and Sigríður originally trained in classical singing. On top of this they are both actors. Femme Physique, their first piece together, combines their artforms.
