THE WORK
‘no lemons no melon’ echoes a thirst for silence and its elusiveness. Despite or through the noise, how can we find the silence we need to unwind? What does that silence look like, and does it exist at all? In a performance that makes sound visible and silence audible, Inga and Yann seek to create a still point in a chaotic world that constantly inundates our senses with stimuli. The work plays with the tensions of live performance and pre-recorded sound.

THE ARTIST
Artists Inga Huld and Yann Leguay are both based in Brussels, where they met. no lemons no melon is their second collaboration together. With their different backgrounds and experience in choreography, visual arts and music their work meets at a crossroads of choreography, performance and sound art. Their first performance, Again The Sunset, was created in 2019 and toured extensively in theaters, music festivals and performance events around Europe.
