MANNDÝR is a participatory performance and installation for children from 3 years old.Why does man exist? Why does a child exist? The soundtrack is created from children’s reflections and Borko’s music which creates an intimate atmosphere. On stage, Aude Busson traces a story and a reflection on man and his relationship to the world. The audience is invited to explore with all the senses, alone or in a group. Manndýr has been shown already around 50 times in Iceland, France and Norway.
Bio
Aude Busson- is a performance maker interested in creating performances with participation of the audience and collaboration between children and adults. Sigríður Sunna Reynisdóttir is a set designer and has worked for all main Icelandic theater stages. She manages the children's design company, Þykjó.Björn Kristjánsson or Borko is a musician and teacher. He has worked in both theater and music and led many musical projects with children. He pursues a solo career under the name of Borko.
