Crevasses
Crevasses explores the hidden layers of the mind, where traumas and other alike experiences stay put until the thin layer that hides them brakes to reveal the forgotten or suppressed wounds. People continue as members of society with all their baggage, often in a haze or mimical ways. How people help each other or choose to not see what is in front of them is of special interest for the work. The music is carefully adapted to the work and photos by RAX surround the world creating it´s landscape.
Bio
Inga Maren is an award winning dancer and choreographer. She has been choreographing since the start of her dancing career, lasting over two decades where she has received numerous grants as support of her work. Writing prose and poems is an integral part of her creative process. Sourcing her own under-goings for inspiration and weaving narratives of human experiences into her work has a magic realist strain with a strong narrational underlining while allowing for an hermeneutic open-endedness.
