The Baby Bar is an participatory experiential performance where adults are invited to surrender to the power of the younger generation in the challenging but safe environment of a bar run by children. They can get a drink mixed by a young bartender, get personal advice on how to conduct their lives from our expert child advisors, get their hair cut by a child with scissors, and if they’re feeling brave enough, get tattooed by a child member of Krakkaveldi!
Bio
Krakkaveldi(Kidarchy) is a performance based project created by theatreand performance makers Salvör Gullbrá Þórarinsdóttir and Hrefna LindLárusdóttir in collaboration with children aged 7-12. Krakkaveldi’s aim is toimagine a world where children rule everything instead of adults, forbetter or for worse! Krakkaveldi's work has already beenprogrammed at Reykjavík Dance Festival, Reykjavík Arts Festival,at The Nordic House in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, and at FiNN Festival in Harstad, Norway.
