
Performing Arts Centre Iceland (Sviðslistamiðstöð) is seeking performing artists and groups who wish to present their work, expand their professional network, and gain new insights at CINARS in Montréal, November 9–14, 2026.
This call is for a special support package from the Performing Arts Centre, where up to three projects will be selected for participation. Please note that CINARS is open to everyone, and individuals are free to register and attend the conference independently of this call.
The CINARS Biennale in Montréal is one of the world's most important platforms for international networking in the performing arts. It is a vibrant melting pot where nearly 1,400 people from all over the world come together – artists, festival directors, and agents from nearly 50 countries.
At CINARS, you have the opportunity to see over 120 diverse performances, attend workshops, and participate in discussions on current trends in the performing arts. Above all, it is a place to meet industry professionals and build valuable long-term relationships.
The selected projects will have the opportunity to present themselves at Nordic Pulse, a dedicated pitch session for the Nordic countries held during the event. One representative from each selected project will have the chance to present their artistic vision to a select group of international professionals.

The opportunity is open to all professional performing artists and groups residing in Iceland. We are looking for artists with "tour-ready" productions – meaning shows that are fully developed and ready for international touring.
A professional jury will review all applications and select the projects deemed to have the clearest objectives and the greatest potential in this specific market.

Note: Projects are welcome to send more than one representative and split the grant between them, but additional representatives must cover their own registration fees and travel expenses beyond the grant.
