Act alone is the oldest theatre festival in Iceland founded in 2004. Act alone is held every year on the second weekend of august in the fishing village Suðureyri.

The solo performance festival Leikur einn - Act alone is held annually in the fishing village of Suðureyri on the second weekend of August. Leikur einn is dedicated to solo plays and the one-person art form and is among the few such in the world. That is not the only special thing of the festival, because from the beginning there has been free entrance to the festival, so people are given a unique opportunity to get to the theater for free and at the same time to get to know this special art form that the one-person art form is. Every year, a unique art festival is offered that everyone can enjoy regardless of economic class and status. The Act opens a unique window into the world of one-person art not only in Iceland but also in the entire world, because every year three foreign guest plays are on the program.
