Travel Grants — Open for applications until 29 September

Travel Grants – Applications Now Open!

The Performing Arts Centre Iceland reminds professional performing artists that applications are now open for travel grants supporting touring both in Iceland and abroad. This is a great opportunity for performing arts groups and individual artists to present their work to wider audiences and reach new publics.

New this year: Domestic Travel Grants

We are pleased to introduce domestic travel grants, supporting artists in touring full productions across the country. The aim is to increase access to performing arts – whether in rural areas, the capital region, or between different parts of Iceland.

Grant Amounts

  • Domestic: ISK 50,000 per participant, up to ISK 300,000 per project.
  • International: ISK 75,000 for travel within Europe and ISK 100,000 for travel outside Europe, up to ISK 600,000 per project.

Application Deadline

Monday 29 September 2025, at 16:00 (Icelandic time).

Professional performing artists and groups from all fields who plan to present their work to new audiences.
