Open Call for Participants at CINARS 2024

Performing Arts Centre Iceland is seeking applications from performing artists in Iceland to participate in CINARS 2024 in Montreal, Canada, from November 11 to 16.

CINARS is one of the world’s largest performing arts markets, held biennially, and is an important platform for artists, producers, buyers, and organizers to connect and collaborate. Performing Arts Centre Iceland is collaborating with Nordic promotional centers under the banner Nordics Combined.

We will select three participants from the submitted applications who will receive a travel grant of 150,000 ISK and payment for the participation fee. Participants are responsible for booking their own flights and accommodation.

Preliminary program for participants:

  • Nordic Pulse, a joint Nordic pitch session
  • Booth at the Nordic Square
  • Access to CINARS performances
  • Nordic party
  • Professional and networking events

Participation in CINARS is particularly aimed at those who want to explore North America as a potential market for their works.

Applications must be submitted in English using the application form below. We request that texts be proofread as they may be used in the festival program, on websites, and on social media.
