Do you want to manage the Performing Arts Industry Day?

Performing Arts Centre Iceland is seeking a proactive and organized Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of the Performing Arts Industry Day (Bransadagurinn), held on May 21st in the lead-up to the Gríma Awards.

About the role: This is a freelance contract position. Preparation begins in March and concludes with the event and follow-up in May. Estimated workload is approximately 60 hours over this period.

The Project Manager's responsibilities include:

  • Shaping and managing the program in collaboration with the Executive Director and the Performing Arts Association of Iceland.
  • Communication with speakers, moderators, and stakeholders.
  • Managing on-site logistics (venue, technical needs, catering).
  • Communication with registered guests and information distribution.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has good knowledge of the Icelandic performing arts scene.
  • Is organized, independent, and solution-oriented.
  • Has experience in event management or similar projects.

Terms: Compensation is based on agreement and reflects the estimated workload.
